Edinburgh Authorities recovered some “stolen” items like an autographed photograph of Presley, a gold record and a framed scrap piece of paper with the lyrics to the 1971 song American Pie, apparently handwritten by singer Don McLean.

A spokesman mentioned that the value of the items was not known, but they look genuine and if they would have been stolen then police hope that the original owner will recognize them and contact them.
